Bleed Blue is heading to Las Vegas NV, October 1-3 for "The Biggest Tattoo Show On Earth" presented by Mario Barth at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Bleed Blue will be represented by our own Beef Stu, Chris Rogers & Tommy Ray. Come to Vegas, get a TATTOO! Hope to see you there!

Bleed Blue Tattoo at Shrine Fest 2010!

Bleed Blue Tattoo had the pleasure of attending Shrine Fest 2010 at the Oleika Temple on May 24th! Even though the temperatures reached the mid 90s, hundreds of people still attended the event to enjoy some beer, BBQ and bluegrass music all while supporting local Shriner charities! Thank you to the Oleika Temple and all the amazing people that welcomed us to Shrine Fest, we had a blast!

It's Official! Kevin Hamilton is Bleed Blue's Newest Fulltime Tattoo Artist!

 Bleed Blue is proud to announce that Kevin Hamilton is our newest fulltime tattoo artist. Kevin apprenticed under Bleed Blue owner and lead artist Tommy Ray. We are in the process of adding photos of Kevin's most recent tattoos to the portfolio page.  Kevin has worked very hard and we hope you will all join us in congratulating him on everything he's accomplished.

UFC Undisputed 2010 Video Game

The UFC's latest videogame, UFC Undisputed 2010, is set to launch May 25!     UFC Undisputed 2010 is the only mixed martial arts (MMA) videogame that delivers the action, intensity and prestige of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Shawn "The Coach" Tompkins is featured in the game's fighting tutorial as is his trademark tattoo by Bleed Blue's own, Tommy Ray.  

Wildcats get tattooed at Bleed Blue 

Alongside many of our other outstanding clients, a handfull of the University of Kentucky Men's Basketball Team come to us for some quality tattoo work. Below are a few snapshots of the guys finishing up some tattoos.

 Tommy has been working on DeMarcus' right and left arm sleeves that are basically comprised of some basketball imagery, some religious icons, and a little bit of philosophy. He had a pretty big canvas to work on and ended up doing a great piece. With Bledsoe's arm, a similar collection of imagery, but trying to take it in its own unique direction. Jay Rush had the opportunity to do some script on the inside of both Dodson's biceps. Of course, he made it look great before letting him walk out the door.  Chris Rogers handled Perry Stevensons tattoo work. Lastly, but not least of all Deandre Liggins has had a full sleeve and many other tattoos done by Tommy as well, but I have unfortunately not been able to track down those photos. They will be up soon enough. All in all, we keep tattooing, they keep coming back for more. 

Viva Las Vegas

Tommy took another trip out to Las Vegas this past weekend. When Tommy arrived he met up with friend Shawn Tompkins from Tapout MMA. They headed over to a VIP party for the Undisputed 2010 video game at The Mandalay Bay Casino. With a nice view of Vegas and it's lit up night life, they were guaranteed to have a good time that evening. With a stop off at the Fight Museum, the situation went from "good times" to "kid in a candy store".

Tommy also had the privilege of attending UFC 109. From the Weigh In all the way up to Mark Coleman Vs. Randy Couture, Jessica was most likely beaming with joy, all the action was witnessed first hand. Not exactly the same as seeing it on TV, even on the most gigantic of flat screen televisions. Of course there was some tattooing involved with some MMA fighters and working on some more of Shawn's tattoos. There was also some interest from other Las Vegas cliental that seems promising, but you'll have to wait and see what comes about for those. Keeping your ears and eyes open to see some cool stuff happening around the shop and on the road.

The results for Ace Weekly's "Best of 2008" are in and Bleed Blue Tattoo was voted "BestTattoo Artists" along with Tattoo Charlies! This is truly an honorconsidering we have not even completed our first year in business! We are very grateful to all our supporters and are excited to continue our hard work. Thank you sooo much!  

Wolf Run Wildlife Refuge

Wolf Run Wildlife Refuge and Educational Facility, Inc. was incorporated in 2001, but began its lifesaving efforts as early as 1993.  Founded by owner Mary L. Kindred, this facility, located in Nicholasville, KY, was enacted to help innocent animals find a world that was safe, free from abuse and a permanent sanctuary for those that could not be released back into the wild. Since its beginning, Wolf Run has grown into a state and USDA licensed educational facility that houses Kentucky native wildlife for teaching purposes. 

We here at Bleed Blue Tattoo support Wolf Run and encourage you to at least take a look and visit the refuge! It's a great experience and a short drive.
